They did run 1712 plays combined between offense and defense so realistically they didn't have to play that many to get those numbers

If the NCAA still wants to make ESD a thing, there should *not* be any bowl games before it. Not being able to host prospects on OV's and do in-home visits the week before ESD because we need to travel as we have a bowl game that week while no one else in our conference/region does is a massive disadvantage. And based on current trends, it's showing.

Just another stupid oversight by a stupid organization.

Don't go 6-6 and you won't have that problem.

Also the NCAA doesn't control when bowl games are scheduled.

To find a positive spin, I would say that our heavy investment in such luxuries shows how wealthy we’ve become, but I agree our attentions would be better served with an adjustment in priorities.

No. There are people on Twitter trying to shame him for this tweet and it is the weakest argument I’ve ever heard. Bunch of people with Florida pics as their pic crying on Twitter is not ideal

There’s only a handful of coaches that had the upper hand and their schools were gaming the system, now, all of college football is a mess.

I’ll pay what I can for a good seat for the few games I get to see but the money should be relevant to the money generated. The nfl cap does exactly that.

I'm not up to speed on nfl regular season ticket prices but I hear they are up there depending on the team. I hear ridiculous stories about parking and concessions. I just see fans as facilitating the out of control salaries because we/they are what fund them.

Tomorrow isn't promised and if someone enjoys the games that much then more power to them but I have dropped several unnecessary things as the costs go up over the years. In many cases I can afford it still but I just can't do it on principle when I feel like the cost has exceeded its value.

People were so upset when MLB went on strike in 94. Fans felt disrespected that millionaires and billionaires skipped a world series while blue collar fans were left in the dark. 2 years later and baseball was as strong as ever.

A good friend of mine just flew his family up to Philly 3 times in a few weeks to watch an NLCS game, a world series game and an eagles game. It's worth it to him but he spent thousands and is now working extra to afford it. To each their own.
