It's on the front page of 247... Rashada is now ranked as the 29th best player in the nation, and the 5* stars go all the way to top 32 players.

Thin skinned lol. OK. I'll take exception when someone changes the argument and then asks if I'm gonna be a hypocrite. Again, that isn't attacking the issue which is what I come here for.

I don't see many people here attacking players at all about making money. I see most everyone acknowledging a kid should take what these old fools are giving them but they do see the harm it's doing to the game. It's not even NIL that's doing it but the combination of NIL and the free transfer rule.

Yeah, the higher you are the harder it is to get multiple spot bumps upward. That is indeed a huge bump.

NIL and the transfer rules finally gives power to the players. Being against the two is the same as being against the players being in control of their future. These fans would rather the old servitude model stay in place while everyone else involved makes multi millions.

Nah man it's not. Servitude = terms? Then yea I guess. Even pro sports have contract terms. How does a coach manage a team with no transfer rule, no salary cap and every year is a contract year? Wanting terms isn't being against the kids. Most people who want terms for the players aren't in favor of how the coaches have no skin in the game either. Coaches need more accountability and fewer escape clauses as well

If a scholarship is one year at a time then a player should be able to seek out a new one every year.

Well change it then. Spurrier used to honor a scholarship for 4 years regardless of performance. The way it should be

FTR student athletes had power considering they were most likely not earning scholarships based on academic performance like other students. I'm not going to agree to an all or nothing belief that athletes have been taken advantage of.

Why? I don't have a problem with it. If a coach can process a player out, a player should be able to transfer out when they want.
Coaches just need to earn their large salaries by managing the team every year.

Can’t argue that. But they’re not all one-year scholarships are they?

Dude there’s value for continuity in building a team - in players and coaches

Show me where players being processed out after one year is the norm and I'll agree. That hasn't been the case. Especially at Florida.
