The LV bowl was originally scheduled for 7:30 pm on ABC. However, it was changed to 2:30 pm on ESPN. What was the reason for the changes?
What does the NFL have to do with it? There are three Saturday games, all on NFL Network. Raiders play Sunday. ABC has BYU-SMU in the Saturday 7:30 slot.
Found my own answer - due to Raiders game time being moved up Sunday so giving more time to prepare the stadium. So yea because the Raiders and Pats suck.
The NFL “flexed” the Raiders game to earlier on Sunday which kicked our game in their stadium to earlier on Saturday so they could turn the field over.
It's good to move it up to 2:30 to get it over with (and with less eyewitnesses than in prime time). Dinner at 7:30 and there should be a good movie on Turner Classic Movies at 8.
It's fine at 230. Right? Did you really want to suffer through the entire Saturday on the east coast to see this, falling asleep while yelling at the TV at around 1030 that night? No! Day drinking it is
Or morning. The pre-game festivities apparently start at 830am now. I am gonna hold out until 930 haha
This “flex” took away the last chance I had to bring my 5 year old to his first gator game. was planning to drive into Vegas just in time to catch the game and leave after the game because of my plans for that weekend. Can’t make it to Vegas in time for a 230 kick though. Super bummed!!! This disappointment though has pushed the wife to agreed to a road trip for the Utah game though so that may end up being a good thing.
