Their rankings are atrocious....it's not really a uf thing, just bad

 

I'd like to know which teams are paying these sites to drop our players. They can't be going out of their way like that and drop our players for free.

 

If it happens consistently, maybe your just ugly,

 

Same shit year after year. It’s not a conspiracy, we just find the players and check our crystal ball for ones that are going to drop in rankings before we get them.

If I just watched highlights, I would have to take Webb and Fletcher over Robinson just because it is hard to tell what he does other than have good speed for his size. In Webb and Fletcher you see what they can do against kids their size and with speed. Webb and Fletcher will knock the snot out of kids trying to tackle them.

 

Based on the current player rankings I would say #5-7 is where we finish. But if some of these individual rankings improve between now and Feb change (assuming they have an ounce of integrity) …I’ll go #4.

Yep. Just like Samson. He dropped from the rankings (still 5*), but I'm thinking he will be a Gator since recruiting services keeps dropping him.

Just read that Mario will have a in home visit with Samson the day before he announces. Do we still feel confident or will that in home visit seal it for Miami??

 

Hard to say, but might depend on the numbers Ruiz writes on that check.

one thing I respect about Samson is that he’s made it NO secret NIL is a huge deal to him In where he signs. Wants to get the bag to help his people back at home. Can’t hate on that

 

Motivations are like a$$holes.....everbody has one, and some are cleaner than others. In a perfect world, they'd all play for reasons other than money, but I understand why it is the prime consideration for many. Some of these kids come from nothing and there is a lot of pressure on them to help the family. No judgement here on that aspect, just handle yourself with class.

 

May not be able to hate on that, but there’s no denying he’s sending a message that he will likely go to the highest bidder. So I don’t hate on that - it’s certainly not as bad as some of the trolling we’ve seen - but I don’t have to like it either. In my eyes it cheapens the whole process. No matter how much a staff knocks themselves out for you during your visit, no matter how great your position coaching is, no matter the intangibles, just show me the money.

no, I don’t like it. But hey, if we do lose out on him then I won’t feel so bad about it. If he chooses UF over lawyer moneybags down in the 305 then I think he’s great because it’s highly unlikely we will have won a bidding war against that asshole, and therefore Samson likely values something beyond the size of the money bag after all.
