2 deep chart for Bowl game or who is actually playing?

Is it true Larry Ochab will be the #2 QB behind Miller??

 

They’re holding tryouts among the fans right before the game so we won’t know the roster until then.

 

I heard we have dentist trying out too.

 

Miller and Shorter are out. Dexter has confirmed he is playing. Torrence has declared for the nfl, but have not seen a commitment or opt out for the bowl game. Don’t know why Burney wouldn’t be playing.

Maybe we can use ORst QB as the all-time QB, like when we were kids.

 

Dexter is playing.

I noted that UF will be without 20 scholarship players for their Bowl game due to players entering the portal, opting out for NFL draft, ….

Question: If a player does not fulfill the duties of their sports contract or scholarship to remain active on the roster for the full semester, why does UF have to pay for their ship this semester? These players entering the portal are allowed to attend school, complete finals, but no longer have to practice with the team, can take visits or see other coaching staffs, and don’t have to play in Bowl games. Why does UF have go pay for a contract when the player does not fulfill contractual duties? Is it because the Fall semester has ended? The Bowl games are not considered required football games? Always wondered why ships were awarded and designed this way. It is as if you have resigned from your job and still expect your employer to pay you

Because it would be a self-inflicted PR nightmare to the program if the universities denied an athlete the ability to finish the semester. There is still an illusion that the education part of the scholarship is more important. Pull a player"s credits and you will not get any players in the future.

Also bowl games are not run by the NCAA. They are invitations put together and run by local community leaders.
The CFP is its own LLC.

 

Jack Pyburn should be interesting/fun to watch since he will be getting significant playing time.

 

I still don’t understand why folks want these kids with one foot out the door to be forced to play in this crappy bowl game. Nor do I understand why they would want to punish them by revoking their schollys when the majority of them are being asked to leave. We need their spots.

 

Very much hope Popeye develops into the guy at Mike next season and beyond. Watching him on special teams this year he’s definitely not afraid of contact. 44
