We might p!ss on the Muschamp/McElwain and the 2021 offense but that 2010 offense was so terrible when you look back on it. 1st down QB: Jordan Reed 2nd down QB: Trey Burton 3rd down QB: Brantley and yet Tennessee STILL lost to that....AT HOME lol
Burke was the one the team spoke up for, from the initial list …and was not released. CT was released but worked his way back 2 months later.
All his meaningful production came against Vandy. I know de la Torre had made a comment that Reynolds had probably already made his mind up about leaving before that game.
Exactly. Hang in a few more weeks and get some jewelry to take with you. Easier path for UGA this year... no SEC competition.
It really is amazing that they’re able to do that. Maybe it’s because they are in the playoffs and the transfers out will announce after that’s over.
That presumes these players are being lured elsewhere to jump into the portal. The ones jumping in the portal don't play or play badly and likely are deemed surplus to needs after their exit interviews. It's hard to believe a single one word be asked back unless the portal has no talent this year.
Doubt it. We need as many as possible to portal out to make room for the large incoming class plus the portal guys we bring in.
I'm willing to bet, based on what BN gets in the portal, that he may try to re-recruit a few of them back. But only if he does not fill all the holes, has a few open slots, and they haven't found another program to go to. He knows what he would be getting with that specific player and they know the system. But again ONLY if they're still there and he hasn't filled their spot. Depth matters.
I don’t know their roster situation, but unless they’ve been extremely proactive in moving kids out over the last three years, they’re going to have the same issue. We have 4 whole classes of kids that were given an extra year of eligibility, but we’re still capped at 85 scholarships. All those extra kids have to go somewhere or you won’t be able to take anywhere close to a full class. Situation will likely continue for a couple more years, until we have a roster back on the normal eligibility schedule.
In that conference he will do fine. Never fully regained that burst but a great dude. Would rather see him at USF, FAU, or FIU. Think he’d do really well.
