Not sure if true but what my non insider zero verified info friends heard…that Raymond spoke to Cormani on the phone while Cormani was on the way to his announcement- in the conversation Raymond asked if they were still good and if he was still a gator. Raymond was told yes by Cormani. So moments before the announcement coach Raymond was supposedly lied to. And we saw how it went. Take it for what it is worth. Near zero.

 

Taking what Cormani did out of the equation, is there some reason they wouldn't want to play with each other? Why would Rick's not want to play opposite of him, does it have to be an either or situation?

This whole thread got fired back up based on a rumor that Cormani wanted out. Doesnt look that way to me. You know there is some scumbag agent in his Moms ear. Maybe it was just a shakedown to up his offer with Miami. Could be Mom is the snake in the grass?

If he is a liar, and deliberatley lied and decieved our staff up to the moment, that is a serious character issue. HELL no I wouldnt hire anybody I already knew was a liar... specially one nicknamed "money" and looks like Sideshow Bob.

that would be my take too- if true. It was reported that UF coaches did not speak to Cormani at all at his most recent playoff game (I am not sure which coaches attended). Normally they would still at least greet a player even committed to another team. They did not.

 

Those have to be the phoniest smiles I have seen in a while.

In this age of NIL, I wouldn’t be surprised to see their agents/handlers/parents/whoever else wants a piece of the action start threatening or floating fake rumors of other visits to get the current school to up their offer.

It’s strategy 101 in the sleazy agent playbook. There’s a reason why Jimmy Sexton’s clients all become “highly interested” every time a major job comes open.

Count on it. Also inflating numbers to make themselves and their client appear to be worth more. Some schools probably like this also. Makes them appear to be paying well to get attention and visits.
