That was his first game at Oregon. Georgia may shut them down again but I'd be interested in seeing them in a rematch. They are playing really well
I don’t know about the Heisman but he is definitely contributing to their success. A quarterback can make or break your team. He is efficient. He is smart. He plays within himself. I won’t give him the trophy but I will give him my respect.

Umm, seriously? All of them have better stats. That 17 includes rushing TDs. Stetson has all of 11 passing TDs total. He has very pedestrian stats. In fact, AR is ahead of Stetson with regards to points responsible for per game. Stetson is #66 with 11.3 ppg. AR is #64 at 11.8ppg. Bo Nix is currently first with 24.2 ppg. I would love to have a great game manager, who can make plays when they are needed; but manages to the team's strengths. Like everything else, the Heisman has become politicized and is of little interest.
Qb of undefeated team makes Heisman ceremony. Shocker. Gino toretta, Eric crouch come to mind. It's almost as if any functioning qb on an undefeated team is part of the formula for the Heisman.... My evaluation is the same as anyone who actually understands football. Bennet has come a long way and is a good qb. Put him on any teal not named Georgia and that team will have multiple losses but you carry on and cheer for everything not Florida as you have for the passed few years.
