I'm not saying I'd hold them out, only adding to the unknown of the talent available. If these guys didn't step on the field much during the season, they probably aren't going to add much for the bowl other than a few reps to give someone else a break. Plus if their games played is already maxed out they can't play without giving up their redshirt. I didn't bother to cross reference each of them but feel free to do so.
Miami supposedly has 15 in the Portal as well. 7 of those are from their Defensive Backfield, leaving them with only 3 scholarship safeties on their roster and only 1 of their commits is listed as a Safety.
Hopefully the portal guys that play are looking to get on the field elsewhere and use the bowl to show they can play.
He had 1 good game (Vandy) but still had 2 drops. Though, I could go either way if wanted to stay or not.
First time this posted it was an x and no gif but I knew it would be something like this lol. I don't hate though. Hope he does well somewhere
Last year wasn't Summerall the only one the staff convinced to come back? I see Andrew Chatfield did absolutely nothing at Oregon State Andrew Chatfield Jr. Stats, News, Bio | ESPN
From the front page article Chris Thomas too. Although was he the one who was dismissed and the team convinced Napier to let him come back or was that Lee?
I remember watching the Vandy game thinking the same thing. I wonder if they asked him to move to a TE like spot. Isn’t he like 6’2”? He could be good as a flex TE role
you right about CT. Man ole man David Turner signed a lot of guys who ended doing nathaniel of note on the DT. Lee, Goods, Thomas provided nothing and Johnnie Brown never even made it to campus.
Caught everything his way and seemed to get good yards and a beast to bring down. This was during our terrible offense years and he was a little bit of hope on the field to be honest.
