Wonder why Ricks chooses to wait until 1 day after ESD. There must be a strategy connected with that right?
Simple, wants to see who signs where. He knows he is a plus 1. And probably happy to go to any of several schools.
LSU, Bama etc. Since they are 1 and 2 at their position, both can probably go where they want. If McClain reached out to any SEC team they would seriously consider him a plus 1 as well. McClain had been offered by 20+ schools.
Some of that you have to put in the context of AR being wildly inconsistent and CBN having to take that into account without throwing AR under the bus in press conferences.
Will anybody ragging on McClain also dog Ricks for signing the day after ESD? That screams, "I don't want another 5 star db to compete against" or "I want the highest bidder".
I read on here that McClain may be willing to wait until after Ricks makes his decision. I don’t know if that’s true or not. There’s about to be some signing day drama.
I never thought he was a saint. I knew that because my preacher (fsu fan) who was from Virginia at the time kept reminding me what à scum bag Percy was.
CM is a top 10 player at à position of need on a defense who needs impact players. I honestly could care less about how he went about his commitment, I trust CBN of he were to take CM to have him in line or bought in otherwise we've seen him let talented players go and if expect CM to be no different. Truth is still a lot of our commits are still cool with CM.
One way or another, no matter how it goes, somebody will say something that someone else considers to be inflammatory or grossly inappropriate. And then, an aggrieved second party will promptly go on to commit the exact same offense in a fiery and indignant rebuttal. The only question is will I be among the rebuttors or the rebuttees. The only certainty is that I won't be smart enough to sit it out and keep my big mouth shut until the latest tempest in a teapot finally blows over. I can hardly wait.
