The Gator men AND women won the Track national titles this past June at the beautiful new track stadium in Eugene. (Which I know is University of Oregon and not Oregon State. It was still Oregon!)
I too am from God’s Country, although I’m now about four hours away. Time to make a trip back. Where you at?
My son lives in Portland. Won't ever come back to the south because it's too hot and too humid. Pleasant year-round and the food is better and more diverse. Though I will say he misses true BBQ.
Umatilla FL. Was named after, Umatilla, OR. 1962 Heisman Trophy Winner Terry Baker was QB of the Beavers football team & also point guard on their Final Four basketball team. He is the only Heisman winner to accomplish both feats. He was the first pick in the 1963 NFL Draft by the LA Rams. Former USC & Bucs HBC, John McKay played at Oregon. So did Dan Fouts & Norm van Brocklin
Monkless Belgian Ales in Bend. Authentic Belgian beers and authentic great food like Belgian fries, mussels, poutine, among others. Monkless Belgian Ales
Great point. Portland has more microbreweries than Florida has seafood restaurants. Great ones too. It's the one time I'll get off keto.
I would be willing to bet that if nuclearbeaver chimed in on this thread he would say " it's not California".
Meh, California is nice to visit. If I could afford to live in San Diego or Monterey id be there in a blink. It is crazy overpopulated in the nice parts though. Oregon has plenty of room to stretch your legs without bumping your neighbors.
