Either Hartmann or Leary would be an excellent transitional QB as we look forward to the Rashada/Lagway era. Others might suffice, but one from between those two would be optimal.
Good question. Is it like talking to another company’s employee to potentially hire or are the rules different
“This will be Sam Hartman's last game with Wake Forest: Hartman became Wake Forest's all-time leading passer earlier this season, passing Riley Skinner's previous mark of 9,762 yards, and he enters the final game of his Wake career with 12,687 yards and another school record with 107 passing touchdowns. He's one touchdown away from passing former Clemson QB Tajh Boyd to become the ACC's all-time leader. What isn't known is whether this will be Hartman's final college game. All he's confirmed is that he'll be leaving Wake Forest, but he could enter the NFL Draft or transfer. Whatever his next stop is, he'll leave Wake as the greatest quarterback in program history.”
Yep, hearing the same. 95% done. Freeman, another first year coach, handling his business. Wow pick up by a big time coach and again, in his 1st year.
Supposedly, Napier is done at the qb position? Or will he take one more? Why not Hartman, or do you think he assured Rashada he was done with Mertz?
