We have 22 projected DB’s next season including Cormani! So yup, you’re 100% right…attrition is coming
there are much more, but that’s a complicated topic with the COVID year. Been meaning to start a thread on that - stay tuned.
As mentioned by bike, everyone got the 2020 year taken off, so most, including some redshirt fr, have one less class on their classification. That screws up the numbers, but it doesn't change the fact that only 4 SRs can't return and the rest could. Those "super" juniors shouldn't count against the 85 but they do, so we're forced to tell them to transfer. That could be a problem until 2024 or '25 unless all non-contributors are "processed" out, which they probably will. Cox actually could stay another year, imagine that, but he won't.
Back in Feb., I made a provisional "wild ass" guess of something between 12-7. As it turns out, that is probably a little low, especially if three highly rated LSU commits wave bye-bye as some are predicting. If we land a five star, which might actually happen now, plus another 4 or so additional high 4* stars, we could go as high as #5. I'll hedge a little though and call somewhere between 8-5.
Don’t think for one second that Lagway’s commitment won’t have some impact on decisions for the current class. ‘23 guys have noticed as well
IF and obviously a huge IF they pull off two of the following 4: Ricks Samson J Smith Russaw we're firing up them calculators and looking at a top 3 finish. Crazy that it could end up with the SEC having the top 3 teams with LSU around like 5th-6th
You left out 6'8" OL "Cade" from Louisiana ....................... Adding Samson and Cade would make for a fine OL class this cycle should we get them.
nah. Adding Caden wouldn’t do anything for the class average which is where i was getting at buuuut he would be a nice project to grab and stash for a few years and develop
