I didn't expect to win this one but thought we might have had a puncher's chance. And then I saw Doug Shows as a ref and knew we were screwed.
we’re not there yet and we just lost to a team by 21 that’s blowing teams out by 24 on average. The numbers say we should have lost by more.
Hmm..thought they allowed U Conn to be more physical...and perhaps a few more fouls should have been called on them
Not a good year for our first year coaches. Not a good look. Hiring mid major coaches to run our major sports programs might have been a mistake. Hope I'm wrong.
I think we need to try and be more optimistic...many first year coaches have struggled..it has been documented on other threads...
Aberdeen should be playing more, Lofton isn’t scoring. You can’t be a guard and not score. Our guards that are playing tonight weren’t big enough and got taken to the woodshed! Try playing Aberdeen with Richards out front and Kugel coming off the bench. UConn had us outmanned at every position. We have to use NIL in a big way to go score a dynamic wing and a powerful rebounder and scoring Center. Throw in a pg that can score on anybody. That too much to ask?
could say Billy’s last year started it. what does analytics have to do with a team better than you at every position? tell her to focus on something she knows about.
@GratefulGator ..I just looked up Billy D last season at UF (2014/15)..we were 16-17, 8-10 in the SEC...so not sure why you disagreed that Billy had a losing season his last year/season at UF because he did...
I said his last season at UF...I just looked it up..that does not diminish my love of what Billy did for us
6-10 in the Sec. Have we beaten a team with a winning record? We will have a losing season. But there is always hope!
That is being charitable. Teams will see that faced with moderate aggressiveness, this team does not compete.
