I can’t recall the last time we looked this bad and came back against a talented team. I will say at points last year against Auburn it looked like we couldn’t hang, but we did win that one.

Bohman, Richard, Lofton, and Jones - all experienced ball players with major minutes last year oh for 9.

Golden needs to hold these people accountable. They are just missing shots. There is no exceptional defense on the part of Connecticut.

CC obviously struggles with players that out muscle him. Think we should play both of the bigs together.

I just don’t see it happening against this team, unfortunately. But it is a good opportunity for Golden to show them how doing the little things right is what separates great teams from the rest.

Just take their discipline defensively. Very few mental breakdowns. Hard hedge to take away threes, hard recover so no one leaves their shooters, funnel handlers to their shot blockers.

That move they just highlighted- when Sanogo shot fakes from 8ish feet out, I wish CC wouldn’t go for the block . I’d love to see him keep his balance , b/c it’s the next move that gets Sanogo to the basket.

Florida trying to play hero ball, not running the offense and making UConn work. Having my doubts about Golden. Yeah I know he’s only been here for a cup of coffee but he’s not passing a lot of the things you hope to see in your head coach. This game is gonna be a 20 point or more blowout, mark it down.

 

And CC 1-9. None of them have played against this kind of length and physicality. You want to coach them through it and use it positively, not sit them punitively because they are are struggling against a better team.

 

We landed Lagway today so the Gator gods obviously have to punish us as well. Thus is life at Florida since 2008.

 

He is young and inexperienced, but has huge upside.
