When was the last time you saw a team with this few scholarship Juniors and Seniors going into a bowl game. I count maybe 10 and a few of these won't even play. 51 Ventrell Miller ILB R-Sr. 6-0 221 Lakeland, Fla. / Kathleen 86 Jordan Pouncey WR R-Sr. 6-1 217 Winter Park, Fla. / Winter Park Texas 0 Trey Dean III S Sr. 6-3 207 Hampton, Ga. / Dutchtown 2 Amari Burney ILB Sr. 6-2 228 St. Petersburg, Fla. / Calvary Christian 18 Dante Zanders TE R-Jr. 6-5 262 Boca Raton, Fla. / Boca Raton 76 Richard Gouraige OL R-Jr. 6-5 308 Tampa, Fla. / Cambridge Christian 1 Ricky Pearsall WR Jr. 6-1 200 Chandler, Ariz. / Corona Del Sol Arizona State 9 Keon Zipperer TE Jr. 6-1 246 Lakeland, Fla. / Lakeland 27 Jadarrius Perkins S Jr. 6-0 186 Hattiesburg, Miss. / Hattiesburg Mississippi Gulf Coast CC 77 Ethan White OL Jr. 6-4 331 Clearwater, Fla. / Calvary Christian Sure we have some guys that have declared for the portal but who knows their effort or how much the coaches will rely on them.
Both were guys who I thought would pick up schemes well but was concerned about speed. Maybe that will not be as big a concern in theB1G.
Bear in mind we have guys that would be juniors but are listed a year younger due to covid year....Princely, Kimber, Dexter, Wingo, Trevez, Torrence, Hill, Powell Ryland, Kingsley, Humphries, Leonard, Tarquin, Harrod, Fraziars, Weston, Odom all have been here 3 years
Good point but I assume most other teams have the same for the most part. No matter what class you put them in we still are going into the bowl with somewhere around the mid to low 50s in players available if we hold out the guys redshirting. Yes its enough numbers wise but definitely not talent wise.
