Mullen breathes life into the offense but the defense suffers injuries and a suspension and we lose to Kentucky at home. Season turns around.

Find hope with Trask but the defense starts to show major problems.

The defense has manifested into the horror show we know now. Losses to aTm, LSU, and Bama because of said defense.

None of this mentions randy Russell and James Robinson I think it was retiring before playing a down because of medical issues.

On top of all that our rivals and hated programs have won titles and had things break their way through this whole ordeal with the exception of Miami and Tennessee.
