The consistently lower post-intervention growth rates in German states when compared with the modelled scenarios with no interventions (table 1) suggest that school closures contributed to reducing the epidemic growth rate. Fauci's job was to keep everyone as safe as possible during the early days of the pandemic until we either figured out how to control it. Or had a vaccine, or a solid treatment for those who needed it. School closures have been proven, by several actual scientific studies, published in respected scientific journals, to slow the spread of COVID. This shouldn't be too difficult to understand. But people don't want to hear it, so they ridicule it as evil. Which is as anti-science as possible.

Your proof is Dr. Drew? The guy who hosted Loveline and used to talk to teens on the air about genital warts? The guy was a Covid denier very early into the pandemic, so again, nice try. Bring some real proof, a legitimate study from a legitimate source that provides all these claims you make, not celebrity doctors who are just trying to get attention.

On one thread, you want a RCT study published in a respected medical/scientific journal for proof. On this thread, you offer a Youtube video of a radio host doctor as proof. See the issue? How about a study, published in a respected, peer reviewed medical/scientific journal. You know, like the two I linked that showed direct correlation between the closing of schools and the reduction in the spread of COVID. One published in the US, and one in Europe. A link like that would go a long way towards your credibility. But a Dr. Drew Youtube video? Not so much.
