Love ya Skink but that team was absolutely decimated by injuries. I can't recall a year with a worse injury situation from any team. Couple that with an option offense team and a terrible offense and I let that one go a long time ago. His bigger transgression was that terrible offense even given two future NFL qbs on the roster.
Has anyone heard anything official from Sam Hartman about his intentions? NFL vs NCAA? Is UF on his radar? Is he on CBN's radar?
He was so dazzled by Bennett's brilliance, he fell apart, same for Mathis, same for Vandergrift who will transfer out even when Bennett won't be there next year. Bennett is that good against that quality of competition.
Bennett isn’t spectacular but he’s pretty damn good and has shown improvement every year. Georgia had 50 points on the board after 3 quarter in the SEC championship.
That's a great question. I'm wondering the same. As far as the NFL, most projections say he's a Day 3 pick. There's some good info in this article below..... “Sam has certainly told us that he’s planning on playing in the game,” Clawson said about the Gasparilla Bowl. “I’d love to see him break the ACC touchdown pass record. Sam is going to finish what he started. I think his intention right now is to prepare and try to go to the NFL Draft.” “But the way this name, image and likeness market is working, in some cases with guys with eligibility left, they might have an opportunity to make more money by going to another school for a year then by going to the NFL,” Clawson explained. “In that case, we couldn’t fault them. Whatever decision Sam makes, we support him. I think right now his intention is to go to the NFL, but when the bowl game is over, if there is some incredible offer for him to go to another school and get life-changing money, how could we fault him for that. It’s a good problem to have. He’s going to have many good options.” Options are plenty for quarterback Sam Hartman of Wake Forest but he plans on playing in bowl game
Like I said earlier, he is a very good game managing QB. There is nothing wrong with that, especially when you have all the weapons on offense Georgia has.
I think he will play one more year to polish his resume and get big conference experience listed on it.
true. say what you want about him, but if you keep the pocket clean around him, he'll kill you with his arms or legs
He's not, and so far hasn't said anything publicly about transferring. I believe he has said this was his last year at Wake Forest, so it's either the NFL or some other school for him next year. He'd be a great get for us for sure.
Exactly but no word on which way he is going so far. Maybe he is talking with nfl to see what his prospects are before he makes that decision. Also may be checking the weight of the bags too as many good teams will be interested.
What's going on with the rumors about Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman and the Vols “I spoke with two sources at Wake Forest. One source thinks Hartman is destined to land with the Florida Gators. That source felt fairly confident, though these things can obviously change quickly.”
