The Hijacking of Pediatric Medicine The American Academy of Pediatrics claims to support the health of all children. Many doctors are appalled by its prescriptions. Our son who graduated from USF and UF, has been telling us this for several years. Its more about politics then real medicine.
I read your editorial. I will ponder it a bit but I question the source. Common Sense says it is against the political takeover of medical and law schools but in the editorial it makes political judgments not scientific ones.
This is unfortunately a reality across other medical associations. The ada is a joke as well. It is really unfortunate. It is appalling that this organization would push for all kids to take the covid shot. Especially knowing the seroprevalence for the disease in a group that is at almost no risk. Thankfully it is clear most members are not following this terrible advice.
If you'd bother reading the link, you'd see that 2/3 of pediatricians are Democrats. This article is about pediatricians. Most living persons with the title of MD are women now and therefore not bloody likely to be right wing as a group in any sense of the word. This is a stupid comment.
Quackery thread. Who am I gonna trust? Doctors or political hit pieces? Doctors are 55/45 Dems/pubs and that is a recent shift as the GOP went crazy and educated people have left them. Doctors are not political in any sense more than the general population. None of us make work decisions based on our politics and why would you be frightened doctors would? It’s insane. Not going to bother reading stuff from a right-wing agitprop website, and doctors as a whole are definitely on the conservative side, certainly from a economic POV. Wonder how universal healthcare polls among MDs? Probably not well!
Yeah, they muscled out our beloved patent medicine and snakeoil sales industry. Cant even do a goat testicle implant procedure anymore! Sad.
