Remember that because of the extra year of eligibility, we got sophomores that should have been juniors, juniors that should have been seniors and seniors that should have been gone, so this is actually helping to get the classes more balanced (less underclassmen logjammed) if it is done properly. If every transfer is a grad transfer, then, yes, we will have a problem balancing the classes.
This is true. It just has to be done correctly. And some youth has to be brought in for sure, simply because we are losing youth.
Yes, we probably do, but it said that at that time there were only 3 SEC teams; presumably the others were all from the B1G losers or some other loser conferences.
Except most of our transfers out are also guys that have been here at least 2 years as well. Also, without the initial counter limit you can replenish at will, although it's not necessarily optimal. Keep in mind we now only have 5 or so seniors on the roster for next season. We actually need an influx of 1 year only guys in order to have room for a big high scool class in 24....where we already look extremely well positioned
