There is a massive difference in a school closing down for the flu for a week or two and recommending to shut down not just a school. Not just a school district. Not just all schools in a state. But all schools for an extended period of time.

His quote is fine here. But he really should just go away. As he never considered the “collateral issue” and “balance” when he recommended the worst public health disaster of our lifetimes. If only he had approached this the way he says we should have back in 2020.

He's warning about the collateral damage of closing schools and balancing that with the health/safety issue. Do you really disagree with that?
