Colorado Buffaloes name Deion Sanders as head coach

Well when a clown with no integrity tries to "tell is like it is" then that comes with the territory.

 

there is a long line of coaches with integrity issues that need to be discussed before deion comes up. one of them coached here....

His son was a 4 star recruit...better than anyone on that roster currently.

 

I understand it from CU's point of view, they haven't been relevant in over 30 years, might as well swing for the fence on a hire like this.

It is not like he can do any worse than the other guys who have passed through there over the last 3 decades.

If he can recruit like McCarthy in late 80's/early 90's, he might just make them relevant again.

Boulder is a beautiful place, a hotbed of Communism, but a beautiful place.

 

I don't dislike the kid, and when a team goes 1-11 they have real problems over there probably at QB too. I have nothing against his son... he never played for the Seminoles like his daddy did.

All in all I don't think Deion a bad person, but I have no real reason to like him just because everyone else seems to follow his every move. To me he's just another former Seminole.

Oh, and just for the record, I believe Deion's ultimate move is not coaching the Seminoles... He's gunning to be Nick Saban's replacement at Bama when he retires.

Yea, but not much in the way of great HS football in Colorado. Gotta hit Texas and Colorado hard for recruits.

Maybe Prime Time sliding down those great Colorado slopes and hitting the craft breweries, tho.

Reportedly already 200 inquirees, many from former 4 and 5 star kids, interested in transferring to CU to play for Deion. If true, CU hit a home run with hire and change in brand recognition/momentum. That does not happen with coaching hires
