I wish him the best and have great respect for his talent, character and potential - the same goes for Mr. Dexter. May they both live long and prosper. Now on to whatever comes next. The Gators will abide...
I hope that AR has a long and profitable NFL career. That being said, it seems that the mystery of him choosing not to run the ball (his strength) has been solved.
Best of luck. You're going to need it! Keep in mind that the game is still too fast for Trask, in year 2.5.
What could have been? I blame 75% on Mullen. Ridiculous to start EJ over him and rob us development 25% on Napier for not adjusting his offense and having a HS passing attack. For those that complain about AR not running… he ran more than Napiers QB in 2021. And his reads were mostly correct Good luck AR. Hopefully you get drafted in a good situation where you can develop. You have the potential to be a superstar
I hope he signs a $100 million contract and some team gives him time to develop mentally since he already has it physically.
Uhh. Really? So, he takes his place alongside Spurrier, Wuerffel, and Tebow, to name a few? Oh, and he was getting paid. He made more money last year than the average junior Jacksonville police officer, or junior military officer, for comparison. His time at UF served him well and now he will cash in on it big time. Bu, he has to do what is best for him.
I am going to miss him. Always a good and fun person and when healthy, was one of the most athletic players I have ever seen on the field. Good luck AR.
He was being paid to represent products ( Gatorade) and sign autographs. Now he going to be paid to play football.
Agreed, and I hate to mention as a comparison but look at Stetson's story. All he wanted was to be a bulldog and gave them everything and won a natty and came back to lead them again. These types of players might be becoming rarer with all the NIL and portal.
100%!!!!! He played for AR not any part of this season did he put it on the line . You could hear it in his press conferences. Me , me mentality
Hope he gets a big signing bonus. Good luck to him and all the other Gators heading into the draft. The window is short.
