Same as the NCAA Selection Show it's always "strength of schedule" until that doesn't work and it's "body of work" and when neither works it's "the eye test." Blah, blah, blah. We do what we want and justify it afterwards.

Wow . . . it was just pointed out that tOSU has now gotten the "benefit of the doubt" FOUR times!

 

One of the teams I hate passionately, two I have a strong strong dislike for, and the fourth has little to no chance to win it all. I'm good.

 

Other than Georgia and Michigan you could obviously argue the order. I'd be very surprised if Ohio State wins it all...

As much as everyone hates Bama, I'd stick them in there just because of the competition. TCU balled out big time but did lose. I suppose this is why some talking heads get the big bucks. I just hope our pre-season ranking is more favorable.

Whelp, it will be semi-nap mode on the recliner through the holiday bowl games awaiting the first Uni thread and next years hope for grid iron relevance...

Why even have a committee, they just mailed in the AP poll.
Lose your last game by 22, at home, you’re in.
Lose your last game to a 9-3 team, you’re in, and you don’t even drop from your #3 spot.

They did the mutts no favor though, will have to beat both of the B1G teams to repeat. Michigan gets the much easier draw.

 

I must be losing my mind. Michigan didn't beat Ohio State? TCU didn't lose to K State?

If we are just going to ignore the results of games why do they play them?

They have a committee so it gives the false appearance the line-up and order weren't pre-selected by the ones who control the play-off $$$$$.

I'm not fan of the Testicles . . . but have a searing, white hot hatred for the LegHumpers so will pull hard for that school in Ohio to win so they can be embarrassed twice by Michigan (and the "committee" along with them). Did I hold back too much? LOL!
