Game is so boring I put on the Kings and Clippers game...and I almost never watch the NBA.

I would sit Bennett out in the second half.

And, run the ball.

 

I'm afraid Mich/Purdue will be the same.
Clemson/ North Carolina might be competitive.

 

LSU is NOT a very good team without their healthy All American type QB. They got lucky to have him transfer in from Arizona State when he did.

We need an experienced and accurate QB from the Transfer Portal too. That is paramount to our future success.

And that's why any team that doesn't play in a conferrnce championship game should never be allowed in a national playoff. Sorry, playoffs should be earned, not decided by committee.

 

We are going to 12 teams. You can complain about 12th and 13th instead of 4th and 5th.

Our offense this year was fine. If BN invents time travel and gets 1996 Wuerffel we'd still drop 3 or 4 games with our defense ranked outside the top 100.

Tackling and not being 127/131 in 3rd down defense are paramount to our future success. When you score 38 against your 14th ranked rival and still lose your problem is not the QB.

 

Our goal should be a playoff team two years from now.

 

I'm watching The Man Who Came to Dinner on TCM. It's quite funny and family friendly. Much better use of time than watching Georgia.

 

As much as I don't like uga as a football rival, I have tons of respect for the type of program they are building. It is very possible that they have removed bama as football king and they don't appear to be slowing down at all. Right now they have imho excellent coaching, excellent recruiting and like bama of old have excellent depth. They will have zero trouble winning the NC and back to back undefeated teams.
As far as Bennet goes, what an amazing story. A bit similar to Trask, he wasn't expected to succeed but he persevered and became a very good qb. IMHO, he is first round quality. I don't care who it is, love these feel good stories where someone beats the odds, does what nobody expected. That's why I also love the Kurt Warner story as well.

 

Nussmeier is a decent replacement apparently.
