8team would be more competitive, imo. In a 12-team playoff, those early round teams would be at a major disadvantage against a well-rested top four team. It's pointless, in my mind. That may as well be a four-team playoff. An 8-team playoff, though, would be more thoroughly competitive. Let me guess why the ncaa thought a 12 team would be better than 8.

Go Utes! A good amount of people here sure lambasted them for being a poor team after we beat them, but they are about to be 10-win conference champs.

It was a very good win for UF, but the rest of the season shows we have a lot to work on.

 

The Utes have a lot coming back next year. Gonna be tough to beat out there.

K-State is a legit threat to beat TCU.

UGA and UM are near locks.

Either way, the ascenders are Bama Tennessee, and Clemson.

UT is Hooker-less. Clemson is a joke.

Bama is gonna end up in. The real question is does TCU survive. If not, all these others are back in, including OSU.
