That sounds just about right on the money to me. I've been trying to project a total necessary "attrition" figure for a while, and I keep coming back to 25 to 28 depending on who wants to come on board via both routes between now and ESD. I expect that BN will be hyper selective in filling out the class with the high-end HS talent that seems to still be giving us a hard look, along with the great portal flood that's about to hit. I also expect he'll keep a couple of schollies in his pocket for NSD in February as well. It's gonna be fun.

over who because there aren’t much carries for a 4th string ball carrier to get. Trell and ETN need 15 carries/touches a game and AR runs it plus 10 times a game, that’s already 40 carries lol
There is something we don’t know or see with LL. I like everything I know about him but 3 separate Coaching staffs have passed on him. I don’t know why but I have to believe there is a reason.
Kitna ship now officially available as released from team today. Need a portal transfer QB with starting experience like LSU had this year.
We'll never know everything coaches know. People think every stone is unturned with all the details out there these days but it's not the case.
“earned a degree from a Top-5 institution, all amongst living out my dream to play for the Gators.” Outstanding young man, well done, be well and successful in all your future endeavors!
That's makes 13 now, including dismissals and those declaring for the draft. In addition to more of the same type of departures we have already seen, I wonder how many will simply "retire" due to the absence of any realistic prospects elsewhere.
I was just trying to keep up with transfer portal kids in this thread. I'll add Shorter as another list in Post #3 though.
