Vandy is one of those schools that won’t put up with much of that. They would rather lose than be on sportcenter for an out of control coach.
he’s a weird dude. A year or so ago. he had a strange rant … conflating his crappy record with politics and race. It was a bizarre, rambling deflection.
Not a good role model for his players. How do you tell them they need to maintain composure when you can't? Anger management class is in order here. After he's dismissed.
Vanderbilt basketball loses to VCU, Stackhouse ejected Different take from me. I'd love to see that fire from our coach when we get screwed by a ref (or refs). Players know he has their back. For me - I'm enjoying a visualization of Golden the subject of the tweet instead of Stackhouse!
You want your coach screaming "(7th alphabet letter) YOU!" repeatedly at the refs? Coming after them physically and starting to remove his jacket like a fight is in order?
There's nothing wrong with a coach occasionally blowing up at the officials, but it has to be a strategic explosion where you're in control the whole time. Stackhouse seemed legitimately close to losing control and actually starting a physical altercation, which is not what you want from your coach.
I'm not going to watch. I hate seeing that with anyone. If I had to guess there's probably other stuff annoying or bothering him, including the AD and fans.
