I’ve thought about that a lot. It is looking like it won’t be long before the portal recruiting cycle will mirror more closely to a regular recruiting cycle. The top 200 portal recruits won’t look much different than the top 200 HS recruits. Just older, more mature (in most cases) but with a lot more complete & relevant data to support the ranking.

 

Looks like they were aided a little bit by playing three school with significantly more viewers than they typically have. Which you could probably say for us as well lol.

 

I heard about the Jalen Kitna stuff a few hours ago but deleted my post because it was just speculation buuuuut.....

 

I saw a rumor that is horrific if true… absolutely will not speak on it until something is confirmed, as I don’t want to spread false stuff about this young man, but jeeeeeeeeeezusssss

 

"A Gainesville police spokesperson says" and the rest of the tweet (I won't post the tweet) does say that THAT rumor is true

 

Hate to hear this kind of thing, especially now, which is the countdown to early signing day.

 

This is extremely ugly.

 

It looks bad, but I think most people with half a brain can conclude one persons personal decisions have nothing do with the university, it’s culture, or the football program. Anyone who disagrees is probably just a rival fan who was looking for a reason to put us down. The penn state thing was cultural. This is an isolated incident (or so we hope).

Not a lot of chances in cancel culture for certain offenses. Distribution of Child porn is one of those hard to recover from offenses. Feel sorry for him in a way, as sounds like he forwarded two images he found on the internet to someone. Or a group, as opposed to chronic pattern of abuse or addiction. Could be he did so innocently as a pic he found on the web. Don’t know context, but clearly reputation is damaged beyond repair at this point.
