Frontline medical staff in Ukraine are being targeted by enemy fire more than in any other war and are being treated as 'high-value targets' by Russian forces, according to a humanitarian charity. Medics4Ukraine, which trains combat medical staff, claim they are being specifically targeted, forcing them to remove red crosses from their uniforms to avoid being identified and deliberately attacked by Putin's troops. The World Health Organisation has recorded 703 attacks on hospitals and medical facilities since February. It is believed to be more than the number of Russian attacks identified in Syria over 10 years.

Russian army is committing rape, torture, and murder of civilians and kidnapping thousands of children. These actions are supported by Russian military leaders as a strategy. And Trump, with a lot of maga, want a position of appeasement. Most repubs want to stand up to Putin but want more oversight on the $billions we send Ukraine. I’m very much behind the support of Ukraine. However with our history sending military aid to other countries congressional oversight seems reasonable. Obviously speed is a necessity. And for dems, to fully support Ukraine they shouldn’t make this bipartisan and castigate repubs for supposed lack of support. Work towards a solution. Ukraine will suffer if they use this to score political points.

This is just a lie and not true. All GOP senators, including Rand Paul, were ready to sign on to declare Russia a state sponsor of terrorism. Biden declined, even against the wishes of Pelosi and Schumer. The GOP do not support Vladimir Putin.
