that is what scares me. Some ultranationalist procuring a devise and setting it off somewhere, maybe even in a territory ie Belarus, to try and justify a broader war. Still not convinced that the bridge was Ukranian work. The chechen and Wagner seem to want a bigger war while the FSB is trying to get out somehow.
The amount of artillery being used in Ukraine is staggering. In Afghanistan, NATO forces might have fired even 300 artillery rounds a day and had no real worries about air defense. But Ukraine can fire thousands of rounds daily and remains desperate for air defense.
Also the one that’s in the dark. Which was rather the point of my post. Calls to mind when Americans ridiculed Gary Johnson for not knowing where Aleppo was. As they all ran to their atlases to find out where Aleppo was.
Seen on the internet ... “Winter "offensive" is going to start in the next 48h RF is active all along the contact lines already.” If true, Russia got all of its reservists in place quicker than I thought. Much quicker. We’ll see ...

Do we have this confirmation as of today? No we don't." Danilov said. "We understand these things don't fly without [people] learning how to operate them, and the Russians don't have the brains to figure it out themselves."
He's probably paid in compliments from his Russian handler in the Propaganda Department. He may not know that he could have asked for cash.
Russian military aircraft transporting from China to Russia. Hoepfully just some cold weather gear but fearful that China has agreed to sell chips or weapons to Russia Media: Russian transport aircraft visit China en masse, fuel speculation on military supplies. (msn.com) Nine Russian An-124 transport aircraft have visited China over the past week, with some of them turning off their flight tracking devices, Defense Express, a Ukrainian military news site, reported on Nov. 27, citing videos published online. Chinese commentators claimed that military equipment, bulletproof vests, helmets, and military clothing could be inside the planes, according to Defense Express. Defense Express suggested that this could be evidence of Russia importing military equipment from China as it struggles to make progress on the battlefield in Ukraine. China has previously denied providing weapons to Russia.
An interesting development in Europe's energy situation this winter: land owners in Poland are finding it very profitable to mine for coal in their yards. In many places, the coal seam is only a few feet deep. Unlicensed coal mining is not strictly legal, of course. But it is profitable. Mining Coal in Your Garden Is a Lucrative Business in Poland
why are they supporting Russia?!!? Cheap oil-blood money? Or worse, they want to see Ukraine destroyed to bolster the value of Chinese wheat production and also weaken us/NATO alliance? thats disheartening
