If Jim Leonard was interested in coming onboard right now, would you change your mind?
Nothing should be set in stone. If we need to improve and have the opportunity to do that, the head coach should be open to that, loyalty be damned.

As much flack as we have given Billy on his playcalling and on AR for his poor decisions, if we had even an average defense this year, we would be 9-3.
So if there is room to improve our defensive coaching staff, we need to keep our minds open to it.

 

Toney has a history of year 2 spikes. And with this dysfunctional roster on that side of the ball it is ludicrous to pin this year on him. It was a mess he did not create.

I’ll admit I haven’t followed Leonard’s career. Is he that well respected as a DC? Any SEC experience? He’s used to those high-powered BIG offenses
