He wants an unrealistic NIL deal that other schools aren’t willing to reach on. Us included.

If there was no Ruiz, Miami would be cooked.

It would be really interesting to see where their class would be without all of this NIL crap. Amazing how we finally got a coach who understands recruiting and the advantage gets mitigated immediately by NIL. We haven't had much good timing on anything as a program in over a decade.

We are well positioned for NIL. We just not throwing money around like A&M or Miami.

Yeah, I get the nil money, but still. Got to figure blue chip recruits are still interested in prep for the next level. While not miami money, they'll be getting paid at any school.

I get the money thing but I’d have to find a slightly smaller bag if I was thinking about Sundays

I have no problem with UF paying crazy money but give to to proven players. I like that we are getting a good amount of recruits 100-300. There’s enough talent there to build a team. Go to the portal and pay up for a few proven difference makers. Millions on top 50 kids tgat may or may not develop is crazy.

Losing is never fun if you are a competitor. Some just don’t care.

We can win on Saturdays, create once in a lifetime memories and create some lifelong relationships along the way.

You don’t have to convince me. The only thing we lack is being a proven winner. We have to give the nod elsewhere. There’s a very short list of schools above that should appeal to kids. Miami nor A&M aren’t there. Money is the only thing they can offer more of than UF.

Yea his kind of a tweener. Edge rusher/ LB.
Strong kid. Quick 1st step on the edge. Really not enough size or measurements for DE. Cover skills at LB are not bad. Hard to say where he will play. 5* as a Junior.

I saw a comparison between him and Russaw that was definitely more favorable to Russaw. Of course, I gladly take both and let them sort things out on the field.

Well, WITH Ruiz, they are likely still cooked. I am not yet believing that talent without proper culture = wins.

    But, we'll see.
