You discredit Fox news at every turn and yet they have been the most factual news source on many issues (Russian /Trump collusion just to name one). Meanwhile CNN that supports most of your beliefs has fired a huge portion of their staff for continually getting things wrong. You like lining up the research that fits your narrative, your commitment to that is admirable, it just doesn't make your position right. I am going to tell you what I think based on my understanding of things. If my posts give you any insights into the thinking of someone that doesn't agree with your point of view than great, we have created an open dialogue . The practice did not originate with Biden and the children weren't dumped without notice as you're apparently implying but sent to facilities prepared to receive them. There have been questions regarding the adequacy of those facilities under prior administrations but that is a totally different issue. As far as Fentanyl is concerned while some may be smuggled by individuals entering the country illegally the overwhelming majority is seized at legal ports of entry and that amount seized probably represents only a small percentage smuggled with legal cargoes. Here is a rating system, in which one Republican, one Democrat, and one Independent rates individual blinded stories from different news sources. Interactive Chart | Ad Fontes Media Fox News is rated as Opinion or High Variability in reliability. Their website is in the slightly higher reliability group ("Analysis or High Variation in Reliability") I think that is a completely fair rating by a set of balanced panels. BTW, given that the Senate panel (run by Republicans at the time) found evidence of collusion, and the relative success of the Mueller investigation in gaining convictions compared to the relative failure of the Durham investigation to do the same (one conviction, two acquittals), I don't think Russian Collusion is a strong example for you. In comparison, CNN is rated in that Analysis or High Variation in Reliability category for their TV and their website is rated another category higher (Complex Analysis or Mix of Fact Reporting and Analysis). However, on a personal level, I often utilize sources in the even higher category of "Fact Reporting." The issue is that opinion without factual basis is nothing more than a narrative, not the other way around.

Yes, I will vote Dem no matter what in 2024. The Repubs offer nothing. They don't do anything but investigate Dems. Compare all the legislation passed by the Dems in the past 2 years to what the Repubs did in 2017 and 2018 when they had control. Repubs did nothing except for a tax cut for the rich that only increased the deficit. They couldn't even pass an infrastructure bill. That is something very basic that almost everyone wanted and the Repubs couldn't even do that. As for the Trump investigations, Trump's attempt to extort Ukraine was a very serious matter and an abuse of power. He was rightly impeached for it. And the Jan 6 stuff speaks for itself. He was rightly impeached again. There is nothing even close to those things for the Repubs to investigate Biden for. But I'm all for them focusing their time and effort on Hunter. It puts all the right-wing Republican nuts like MTG and Gaetz front and center for the country to see. It will appeal to folks like you and no one else.
