Refs and that one announcer

Do kids have their names on their jerseys in pee wee football?

 

Announcers don't usually bother me but the way he went on and on about the PI was ridiculous.

 

Huard (sp?) is a beating no matter what he is saying

1. Dude never shuts up... just on and on, even when the replay he is talking over shows the opposite
2. His voice is annoying, there is only 1 other announcer that has a worst voice
3. His partner has to wait until he shuts up (like 5 seconds into the next play) to walk back 75% of what Huard just said.

I had him mixed up with Paxton Lynch. Maybe because they both sucked for the Denver Bronocos.

 

The Brock announcing last night was Brock Osweiler, who was Peyton Manning's backup in Denver...

 

What if we could get ABC to add Beth Mowins to that amazing group??

 

Huard is the male Beth Mowins.

 

Announcers were bad, the refs too. Unfortunately da Gators beat themselves

Absolutely no one rivals her in the time it takes the fan to mute the volume on the TV.

 

My comment was not in ref to last night's game. I think Huard's voice and expression is similarly dry to that of Mowins.

I had to turn the volume off often. I do it every time they play the stupid Injun' Whine anyway, which is every 30 seconds. The announcers were homers to the point of absurdity. They said fsu had the best team in the country at one point. The penalty discussions were bizarre and highly biased. Worst announced game I've seen in a long time, and, we've seen some bad ones.

 

Not to mention conveniently forgetting the head-to-head non-targeting call on Pearsall (who had been in concussion protocol all week). Defender should have been ejected right then in the first quarter.

 

Or Reba McIntire, there is no difference.

 

I thought the ABC crew was fairly balanced to start the game but as it wore on, a distinct ACC bias showed with Osweiler. I wish in the interest of objective journalism the announcers would be told to not give their opinions on missed or reviewed calls. Oh wait a minute: objective, unbiased journalism. Don’t think the media practices that anymore. Thing of the past. Silly me!

 

Simple solution to bad announcers. Win more games, get a better time slot and better announcers. Had the rookie last night.
