I feel like I have to preface every criticism with the fact that I'm still a supporter of Napier but I agree with constructive criticism because things are getting divisive here already. That said, one of my concerns all year has been our 3rd quarter performance. Those are halftime adjustments or lack there of. Both teams are making them so when one team continually comes out losing the 3rd quarter there is cause for concern. It started with Utah and has continued outside of aTm and south Carolina

A fair question. But 3Q aside I actually thought he called a pretty good game otherwise. 38 points should be enough to win against anyone. But a defense allowing 45 should be enough to lose against anyone. The D is at the head of line where changes need to be made.

I think BN was trying to catch the Noles off guard by coming out after the half passing the football. It definitely backfired if that was his intent.

    From ESPN:

"The Gators ran for 262 yards, averaging 5.7 yards per carry, but he had 11 straight incompletions in the second half."

There is no other explanation other than ineptitude. Throwing with a depleted receiving corp when you need the clock on your side because of injuries and you are running the ball down FSU's gullet.

Sun Belt strategies don't cut it in the SEC.

Again CBN isn’t a good offensive mind. 3rd quarter shows it again.
Offense didn’t lose us this game, but you see this mind boggling play calling every weekend and people are still surprised.

I trust he’ll figure it out by hiring an OC or passing game coordinator.

I’m not so sure. When AR is struggling, he doesn’t want the focus to be on himself, hence all the times he handed off on RPOs instead of keeping it. I can see him checking to a screen pass just to get the ball out of his hands and let the receiver handle it. AR seems like a great kid, but he lacks the killer instinct and the confidence that comes with it.

Yeah, because only in the sun belt would you expect your QB to hit some simple throws. Such silliness.

When has that play ever worked? I can see him wanting to move the ball around, i just cant see any reaso why he would choose that one.

I’m not so sure as it was a conscious decision or just a quick three and out. AR couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn in the third quarter and things went to shit quickly

Yep, the Sun Belt plays are what our offense is missing

This is really the only explanation that’s remotely defensible…. And with a more efficient passing game, probably, maybe, works pretty well … but by the last game of the season, needs to accept the limitations of the offense… different looks out of the run game would have been a better bet if their adjustments were the concern
