I thought Pearsall did great filling in for Henderson and after seeing the 2 of them this year, how did Henderson beat him out? Based on game action, Pearsall should be the 1 and Henderson the 2.
He’s a natural punt returner IMO. And Etienne is an upgrade on kickoffs. Only took the whole season for the coaches to figure this out.
Based on what I’ve seen, Pearsall should be the 1 and Henderson shouldn’t be on the field in the return game. Maybe Etienne #2.
Yeah tough spot but we’ve done it before Quez green, etc. Gotta put guys back there who can change games and not make mistakes. So far Henderson has been average at best. He may be faster than others but may not have the same vision.
I’ve always considered it a good spot for your quicker young talent, not so much your established WRs. Certainly lacking some break out speed right now. Will be interesting next year with some new guys coming in.
That would be scared money. We would’ve been awful without Jacquez Green returning punts in 97. I say put mostly starters in special teams especially in SEC & big games. Failure to do so cost us vs Vandy.
Very sad we only had Pearsall for one year. Hope to see him on Sundays catching passes from 85 year old Brady.
I called for him since game 2 to be PR and the genius reaponses here was he was too slow straight line. PR qualifications: 1. Catch it every time. 2. Fearless 3. Shifty 4. Fearless 5. Catch it every time. 6. Know when to fair catch. 7. Know when to pretend. 8. Fearless.
Quez broke a hip against Nebraska on the opening kickoff. So there is legit concern to weigh in there.
If you don't put your best PR at PR then you don't value special teams enough and your team won't be special. The best players play as much as possible.
Yeah, Bowman hasn’t shown he is good enough. Deon Sanders and Desmond Howard did fine with those duties and being the best at their respective positions. Etienne is back fielding kick offs so not sure about being worried about injury.
