4 assists again for Castleton, against 2 turnovers. He is starting to figure out how to take advantage of all the attention he is getting. Only took 6 shots tonight.
Definitely a good bounce back. You already knew what you had in Castleton, Richard, and Lofton. But Bonham and Kugel are really getting comfortable. That's what these tournaments do for you: start to fill out the rotation.
Just finished watching. Intrigued about what's going on with Reeves Keugel will be a star. Athletic, skilled, and fearless CC playing within himself. Love to see it. Every night can't be an NBA tryout. I love Richards versatility. I'd be shocked of he's not near the top for us in +/- I can call a better game than those two clowns. they hardly cared or talked about the action on the court. Off to watch football. Hope the Gators will give me a 2-0 birthday present
Agree with the commentating, but to be fair there’s just two many televised games these days. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel.
It was like we were sitting in on their ( commentators) first date as the it to know each other..horrible And the ref cam… please never again.
I have Cox Cable in Gainesville and have ESPN so I get ESPN+ as well but ESPNU is not available to me. I can get any game in the ESPN+ network except ESPNU games. Maybe if I pay more but I already pay them too much. Anyway will the game be available on ESPN+ in replay? I want to know how we ran out to such a good lead. I could see that we shot really well and OSU shot very badly from live stats but I want to know why. Was the poor OSU start self inflicted or did the Gators play really well and take it to them?
I don’t know all of the packages and how they work (I worked on the business side of cable decades ago, but it’s too opaque now). Anyway ESPNU is on my service in G’ville @ channel 265 or so
We shot lights out and everyone got into defending. Tre Bonham hit three 3’s in a row, a fourth one rimmed out. We got some steals and got out on some runouts. Will Richard hit some threes and Riley keugel hit a three but missed a runout dunk. OSU didn’t know what hit them. CTG put in a whole second team with Kowacie Reeves, he took the ball to the hoop early and reversed slammed the ball. The Beavers at the end of the half were more steady with the ball and driving into the lane. They got it down to only a twelve point lead at half. But once again we were hot shooting the second half and defending and we got over a twenty point lead. Then we traded baskets till they got antsy and started fouling every time down. We shot better than we have been at the line.
Usually it is - they call that part "in demand" I think, so you can look for it in that department. It's still in the ESPN+ section - you just have to scroll down to the "in demand" row and then scroll across. Or you could try asking Alexa, although she never gets it right for me...
Yes I thought his first foul was bs. Then they called a travel on him the next possession that was a catch and drive and I didn’t think it was traveling. The whistles were 30 seconds apart.
Did you watch the basketball game? They spent 20 minutes talking about shoes. No commentary on the game, as though the game was a total afterthought. It was a legitimate gripe. But one thing I won't gripe about is other posters. Bitching about other posters is what is old.
Yes, but they block ESPNU games for some reason. Even on replay. They did allow me to see the game with an "above the rim" view on replay, but not the ESPNU video feed.
