Post-Game Discussion: FLORIDA at FSU

Ths was my thinking. He certainly knows more about football than I do. But what defense has he been watching?

 

Lot of good points here. But a big point you bring up is we are fairly slow on defense. Teams have guys routinely sprint past our defenders and turn the corner on us.

 

And a defense that can't tackle!

 

that was his 3rd in a row that he should have come down with that he didn't. He did not have a good game. I'm not writing him off, but he has to fight better for the ball.

 

I was afraid to come in here because of this, but it hasn’t been that bad. Maybe the Mods did some clean up.

Some think they have more influence than they do by calling for heads to roll. I’d like to look at the good and the bad.

What confuses me is that most on here thought we were gonna get boat raced by FSU with the depleted roster and coming off the debacle at Vandy. Why then would you criticize players and coaches for a very good showing. Yes we lost and I don’t believe in moral victories, but that was a helluva fight.

This team is young and the future is bright. Get ready cuz jet packs are coming.

 

Good, I want to see what Kitna can do with first team reps and given the reins.

This season hasn’t really been a major surprise, to me at least.

 

Douglas was targeted 5 times, 0 catches. In fact, WRs not named Pearsall were targeted a total of 10 times, 0 catches.

His mental toughness seems fine last night. ( can’t alway say that) He threw some catchable balls that weren’t caught, missed a few and threw some that should have been easy and he made them harder than they had to be. AR was pretty decent overall.

 

Trust our Defense!! Has he even watched our Defense? Heads up to Louis...this ain't the 2008 D you're looking at.

They hit the portal significantly better.

 

Dude is a true freshman and has only played receiver since his junior year in high school. I’ll give him a pass.

 

They had coaches that have National championship and playoff experience.

 

I’m looking forward to next season already.
