It actually makes me feel better they rushed the field. Also why is the easiest call to call in slow mo, a FM one of the few not allowed. Also, how does a homer announcer get to keep his job on a non homer channel. I mean the BS block in back. The phantom offensive o line hold where neither said there it is on the last AR long run there. Then he’s furious about the PI “not at this point of the game” and then ACTUALLY FRIGGEN EXCUSES the FM! Even his buddy didn’t agree. We would have been first and goal on 9 had they called that also without it, maybe he could have ran or thrown better. What the what?!?
We lost five minutes ago, we're still in the window to say the refs and the announcer were both crap tonite.
Not sure why he was so dead set on that not being PI. He pinned Douglas’ right arm down so he couldn’t attempt a catch. It was also a makeup call for the miss the play before on Ricky. Refs also missed targeting on the throw to Douglas that he caught and then dropped. He dropped it after he got his head rocked by the DB. Ricky was also taking shots to the head all game it seemed like. The face mask, the offensive line holding so much. For example, on the Travis scramble where they reviewed it one of their linemen had our guy in a chokehold. The crowd shots after every play and the announcer favoring FSU were just salt in the wound.
And they were. The last play should ever be a FM when you’re the losing team about to score and you get a grasp on iron in your face.
In his defense, Brock never threw a catchable ball so he probably didn't get many PI calls for his receivers.
How many times did that dude say, “that’s one of the first things I learned in pee wee football” ? Haha
That must have been an intense first practice lol. All he talked about was how many “EXPLOSIVE PLAYS” FSU had, but never mentioned that UF had at least as many. He was absolutely unhinged about a good PI call, didn’t say boo about that holding call that negate the first down on the plus side, zero commercials for the red devil wrench or tavola oven.
As far as the announcers… what do you guys expect on a Friday night? That’s a high school gameday no good announcers for this game this year.. this is one of the worst crews on this game for a reason
Just goes to show you how far Florida football has dipped where the UF/FSU game has "C" team announcers. We will be back! GO GATORS! I'm not one to say this call that call changed the game. We lost in the beginning of the 3rd quarter when we had an opportunity to take control of the game and went 3 and out 3 times. Blame it on the OC that we didn't run the ball like we were and AR who throws balls to places I don't understand. The 3rd down on the last drive he had Odom open where he needed him and threw the ball 10 feet over his head. Also, the pass to Johnson Jr in the beginning of the 3rd quarter out in the flat was about a 40 yard gain that he threw in the ground. Starting to understand why Mullen didn't start him cause he knew he wasn't ready.
I don’t know why but the announcers and analysts are always ridiculed by the posters here. Why does what they say bother you like that ??? The refs always get shellacked here too. It’s maddening to read the bs by our posters. Refs miss calls ( both sides) Announcers say stuff that pisses you off , big deal! Grow the flock up! They were fine last nite. The announcers didn’t make a tackle
I agree! We are a young team that is learning. So much of football comes down to desire and a will to win. Need a team of players who are (as Urban would say) invested. Have to believe CBN is building that culture!
