After getting a late play, and a facemask scrambling away and having to get the ball out before getting hit? Doubt you ever played QB
Not early. Look at Montrell’s Numbers before halftime as I believe he had nine carries for 69 yards which is almost 8 yards of carry. Trevor also looked very good and I could care less who got the Carries as long as we were running the ball but that’s not what happened we came out throwing for some reason.
It would help if his receivers didn’t drop so many catchable balls and were in 3rd and long so much don’t ya think?
Possibly, but he did hit Quez Green for that win over f$u. Also, I just saved money by switching from Geico so there's that as well....
It was, however, AR's bad push throw that fell incomplete to a wide open Reynolds that kept us from having a long gain on the 2nd play of the 3rd quarter I think it was. And it was AR who went 9-27 for the game and had, I believe, and 0-12 streak in passing. And how many times did he hand the ball off to a back up the middle when he had the option of keeping it and running around the end with nobody out there? He's a totally inconsistent and unreliable passer and a bad decision-maker when it comes to where to throw the ball and whether to keep it or hand it off on the option read. I fully agree that Napier's game plan to start the 3rd quarter throwing the ball was stupid and he deserves a lot of the blame for his in game coaching - just like his game plan vs. Vanderbilt where we had 43 passes vs. 21 runs. But the quarterback is supposed to be able to execute whatever plays are called and our guy is just not very good at it.
I’d argue aside for Pearsal BN didn’t do anything in the portal the guys he brought we his guys already. I think RP was already coming before Napier was hired.
If it is an RPO and the look is to throw it would be. I don’t think anyone expects AR to be perfect and there were drops tonight. There are also times he just goes cold and can not take advantage of what the defense is giving him.
