At least we didn't roll over, that's something anyway. But Billy has really got his work cut out for him. The D is not even average in any respect - talent-wise in particular. At this point there's no point in bashing the coaches or any particular player. We just are who we are and who we are is not very good. I just hope BN closes with a really strong class; Heaven knows we need all the top-end talent we can get. I'm really not angry like I was last week, though. I'm just resigned to the fact that we are looking at a more extensive rebuild than I ever imagined possible and trying to keep my powder dry 'til reinforcements arrive. Ces't la vie.
He had his arm. Dont listen to the commentators. Look at the replay. He prevents use of an arm. Thats why the back official throws the flag. And the play before SHOULD have been a PI too. We got hosed. It wasnt even.
Our lack of DBs who can catch hurt us too. One pick six dropped and another int right in the gut later.
They even did a replay and showed the back arm wrapped, that’s always PI. That’s exactly what the Refs look for. That knucklehead announcer still kept yammering on it was questionable. Think he has a man crush on Norvell.
Did I say that? I want to punch a wall because of all that. I was commenting in the moment about what was happening in that moment.
C What did Madden used to say?...If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas.
This is pretty much how I feel…except maybe a little more mad. Talent-wise, we should be putting a better product on the field. And we have seen first year coaches have better transitions than this. So far Billy hasn’t quite met expectations yet. But I guess the key word here is transition. Next year should be different. At least it better be if he wants to quiet the natives.
3 wideouts caught passes and to few runs. The 3rd quarter killed us, but I'm good with the final score with our depleted team and lousy tackling of that shifty qb travis. Covered the spread so that's one good thing. We'll be better next year and I'll still be a Gator fan.
Lots of events in life changes ones out look on football games..I know what you mean..used to get so upset over losing...but so many other things more important..I will always support my Gators..but it isn't the end of the world if they lose...
