The noles went through their last four acc opponents like a knife threw hot butter, but even at home with major home cooking from those acc refs they barely beat a 3-5 SEC team. Hats off to Travis who was the best QB on the field, but apparently AR is the 1st round pick of the two some how. Hopefully we get a huge infusion of talent on defense and some receivers and TE’s that can get separation for next season. Great game by Pearsall and the OL and RB’s!
I think we just need to give Jordan Travis his props. If he doesn’t bail them out with his legs numerous times we win that game. Even with AR going cold. Those two missed sacks on 3rd down near our red zone were killers. It will be interesting to see what they look like without him. That kid is just a gamer though.
Florida State beat both SEC teams they played including LSU who won the West in case you missed it. They beat more SEC teams than Jimbo Fisher.
Jordan Travis’ legs, Benson, and the ability of the FSU offense to hold without getting called is what made their offense successful. Jordan looked like a sissy on his runs though, kept sliding when players got close to him at the goal line instead of making sure he scored.
Okay, doesn’t matter if SEC or ACC refs, point is they sucked bad! Main point is the Acc sucks really bad and today was further proof. Top Acc team - 1 loss and #8 Clemson loses at home to a very mediocre 4-4 in the SEC South Carolina team. #25 Louisville gets blasted by an average UK team. UGA blows out GT as expected. That was my main point in previous post.
Nothing wrong with a QB trying to protect themselves from injury. Sliding at the goal line still resulted in a TD
They might’ve been. There’s a lot more money at stake for a 9-3 FSU going to a bigger bowl than for us at 7-5.
After that hit I thought he was oddly trying to grab the ball like he lost it. Never saw a replay that suggested he fumbled it so I didn't anymore about it. Wow what a miss
He regained control pretty quickly and popped up with the ball, but was out of bounds when he did so. The ref was in perfect position to see it, but didn't.
