Need a time-consuming drive and a TD going into the half. We can't tackle for schytt though. I mean come on already.
I'm trying to convince myself that our last staff left our players without guidance and coaching so that we are just behind. Feel for our players under that scenario but it is what it is. No matter how good our staff is going to be, they cannot dig players that have regressed out of that hole.
Tackling should be a DC's calling card. Remember when Jarvis Williams would hit you and you wouldn't get up?
I know this is a lot to ask but can we keep this shit in perspective? Yeah they got back there and almost sacked him but they couldn't. They were in position and are playing well and the freaking game is freaking tied. So let's talk about how low our defense is when playing a team that is statistically better than our offense in every category.
Yeah . . . if only somebody on staff knew technique and could teach them. Hard to believe they all got through high school with the same poor technique.
Good long drive that ends in a TD would be a great way to end the half, especially since we get the ball to start the second half.
