Starting for the Detroit Lions, just sacked Josh Allen of the Bills. I always thought he played pretty well for us and couldn't understand why he transferred, especially with our situation at linebacker
Trust me, they're a lot happier and optimistic with the current situation. I don't want to say they've turned the corner, but they're developing an identity and can win on any given Sunday (had to add that cliche).
I guess so, never a Detroit fan. All I know is they have never appeared in a SB much less won one. I know a Lions fan. Optimistic is not a word I would use to describe him. Another year and another losing record and no playoffs. Maybe next year will be their year. .
I'm not either, but I know one of Sheila Ford's cousins through my Nascar work. They seem to think they have the right team in place there. Time will tell.
There was a lot to like. I’m not an NFL guy. This was the first game this season where I watched a majority of it …and they had some fight. Good game.
Lions lost 6 in a row and 17 of last 23 on Thanksgiving day. Before last two decades, Lions had a winning record. Have played over 80 times on Thanksgiving Day. The last 20 years have not been kind to them.
Never would have predicted the kind of NFL future he’s had. What a run for that guy. NOLA and now the Lions. Seemed like he was always injured for us a la Andre D or Ernie Badoux(spelled phonetically). Good for him. “Wes Chandler was Percy Harvin before Percy Harvin was born.”
