I think UF has to start out fast in this game to have a chance. We need to break their momentum from the last four games. If it is within a score going into the 4th, then the pressure will start building on them. FSU isn't that much better than UF. They lost to some mediocre ACC teams just like we lost to some mediocre SEC schools. FSU's best win by far was against LSU who helped out FSU quite a bit as I recall. ACC is meh this year.
1996 UF vs fsu on ACC network I don't see how any fsu fans or Gator fans would watch this replay...knowing what's coming up in a couple of weeks from this game....
FSU lost to two teams that are currently 7-4, plus 10-1 Clemson. They've beaten their Vandy caliber opponents by 3-6 TDs. I would say their best win is also stronger than our best win. That said, can we beat them? Of course! Florida and FSU have a two game difference in their won/loss record. That is not insurmountable. In 2002, a 5-3 Florida team gave Georgia their only loss of the year. In 2003, a 3-3 Florida team gave MNC winning LSU their only loss of the year, on the road with a true freshman QB. In 2004, a 6-4 Florida team with a lame duck coach beat an 8-2 FSU on the road. All that with a clown that many Gators called the worst head coach going down to Pop Warner level... I think we can very easily beat this FSU team...
Been paying attention? The answer is clear and he doesn’t need to utter it. He is counting on the combine to make him a 1st/2nd round draft pick. He is avoiding injury at all costs. Teams have figured out he is prone to lower body injuries and are gunning for him.
All of this is certainly the majority opinion, and not going out on a limb, but we haven't had anyone step forward and tell us he/she has direct access to AR before. Not even on the premium side. How does AR plan to survive the NFL if he can't avoid injury in college? Has he shared that?
Never burn your source. And mine is as close as it gets. I honestly don’t think he has thought that far ahead. Goal has always been get to the NFL.
Nobody is asking for the source . . . which you've already identified. I'm just interested in some of the things we've been wondering since you speak directly with AR.
Sorry, but it’s really gonna piss me off if he’s not running early and often tomorrow. Does he tell Billy I really don’t want to run much?? Surely they’ve had those conversations. Billy needs to call more designed runs. His best opportunities are when he drops back to pass, the entire field opens up, take off!
Yikes. Out 5 guys at one of the weakest position groups on the team to go along with a highly inaccurate quarterback. Start praying now.
