Mods can this thread title be changed? It’s inaccurate information.

Thanks! I already added the (by 'PFF College' on Twitter) yesterday to show the source and let folks take it for what it's worth.

It's a valid source and we can discuss it like everyone is doing.

How is it inaccurate? It’s one the most reputable analytical services out there. Certainly better than our eyes

IMO some criticisms are fair, some are unfair, some are simply wrong but reveal another truth.

Fair: He should have run more. First drive- we had first down on the VU 11. AR could have pulled it and walked in. TWICE. He did not. Cost us 4 points.
Why didn't he pull it and run? I have no idea, but it's a fair criticism.

Unfair: His pick and the plethora of dropped balls. We are far down the WR depth chart and there were multiple drops.
This indicates to me how great AR is- that his stats were good even with the drops.
IMO- this is where the pick comes in. He was trying to be superman, trying to do too much to make up for WR weakness. (And other bad plays.)

Finally- there was the end of game hail mary. There is no way AR was trying to throw it away to protect his stats.
But his overthrow revealed something- he has almost zero court awareness as they would say in basketball.
It's clear (to me anyway) that the game hasn't slowed down for him. He's still processing, and he's over his head mentally.
    Even vs Vandy and UK.

The last point is the dagger in terms of whether he should come back.
He needs to stay until the game slows down, until he can begin to process better.

I know AR is gone. But wow- what a huge mistake.
The fan boys and other parasites rooting him to "take the money and run" should watch Caleb Williams at USC to see what a real NFL QB looks like in college.
Once he looks like that- then he should go. He is not close to that.

I'm always leery of recruiting that "great" QB on a terrible HS team (which is exactly what Eastside was while AR was there). Great QB's generally have leadership skills in addition to great measurables as a well as a burning desire to win. Driskell was a similar situation although his HS got better each year he was QB.

He threw for 400 and made multiple bad decisions . I’m not sure that can be argued.

What decisions were bad? He had some bad throws (Hail Mary) but his on target % was pretty good. So accuracy wasn’t a problem. It’s been debunked that he should have kept more zone reads. They were scraping the LB. And the INT was not a bad decision at all. If we count bad decisions as ones where the WR may potentially bat a ball in the air that hits them in the chest to a defender that started 5 yards away then every throw is a bad decision. That can happen literally on every pass

He should have kept the ball and run with “ferocity” a few times. Napier alluded to it and everyone watching can see his demeanor change at points in certain games. He chooses not to play with his legs as his primary weapon and he is not as affective when he does so. You can disagree but that’s how many of us see it. When he throws caution to the wind, he’s just much harder to defend.

So are you saying he should have scrambled when he went 25/42 with 400 yards and 7 drops?

Or are you saying he should have kept the zone read when the correct read was to hand the ball off? We’d be killing the kid if he made the wrong read and lost yards.

Very valid source. Imagine if 2 drops instead of 5/6.

I’ve said the same over and over. I just don’t understand?? Up to Billy to run him. He called no QB powers and no QB draws. Should have called the draw at least 2-3 times. How about a speed option w Etienne as a pitch man? These are not advanced, out of the box, and new creative ideas.
All the kid did was put up monster numbers doing what his critics said he couldn’t do. PFF ranked him #5. Even the int was thrown in a place that only his guy should have caught it.

I hope both the 400 yards OMG he couldn't do much more crowd, AND the he should have kept the ball on every zone read crowd both watch the GNFP breakdown. You will lose count how many times Vandy had 1 if not 2 guys waiting for AR to keep the ball and how many go routes had an open receiver "swimming" (his hilarious description) trying to get to the ball. Sometimes I seriously question what game people are watching.

What is without question is he didn't get any favors from his teammates.

By comparison, ESPN ranked Richardson the 53rd best QBR for week 12.
    Ratings can be arbitrary.
