The cult of common sense. GasBuddy head of petroleum analysis Patrick De Haan still expects Americans will see the “most expensive Thanksgiving Day prices on record,” breaking the previous record of $3.44 in 2012 when Barry was in charge.
Must be a local issue as it is way lower here right at $3. Gas buddy says $2.89 all around here but I’m good paying the $1-2 extra per fill up to stay close to home.
I won't drive out of the way for a few cents but it is easy to plan to hit it on my way home from work for a .30 to .50 cent per gallon savings. I also like their coffee. You just have to know how to navigate the chaos of it all by taking the farther but less busy access.
Oof... well it's nice to have one nearby. They are expanding so maybe you'll get one a little closer sometime.
WTI about to crash through $80. That crafty Joe totally outmaneuvered the Saudi’s. Tip of the hat to him!
Just saw September’s field production numbers. The US produced more crude oil in September 2022 than anytime since March of 2020. It was also the 9th highest recorded month ever. Not bad for a supposedly anti-oil production President…
Gas Buddy isnt always the best source. I just checked our area. It shows a few places at 2.99, but i know those places and they are not 2.99. I literally paid 3.10 at one last night. And that was with my discount from the UpSide app, tet gas buddy has it at 2.99. then if you actually click on it, the proper price shows up. No one has gas for less than $3 here.
At the end of the day, they can rail on about fossil fuels all they want, but as evidenced here, Biden/Harris are not going to cut their noses off to spite their faces. Very little upside to killing oil production and watching gas prices soar.
