“A lot of people are disappointed, but it comes with the sport. You win some, you lose some,” Richardson said on the loss to Vanderbilt.

Not exactly inspiring like the original.

It says something about him, or something about the 21st athlete.

Well if we catch him at Lake Alice skipping stones… it’s more likely Dr. Pepper.

The more I hear about AR, the more I hear he is GOING to the NFL, and the more I hear quotes like this, I just smh.
From what I know he's a good kid. I'm sure there are many worse on our team and all around CFB.

But so so so so immature. it reminds me of an emotional teenage girl who yells at her parents that all her problems will be solved when she gets married and moves out.
And she CAN'T WAIT to move out and be done with all this high school stuff.
That having to clean her room and help around the house is just beneath her. (Not that this happened in my house. LOL.)

No AR, no. The NFL will be so much harder than Vandy or Kentucky.
I think he is going to be surprised that, gasp, money doesn't solve his problems.

Goodness gracious, folks. So many critical comments about our team leader, who had very little to do with the loss to Vandy. He's our QB and our team leader. This quote should be no kind of indictment, sheesh. And to compare our first year starter's comments to the Tebow speech in his junior year (not the mention the incredible defense and offensive weapons Tebow's team had) is just silly.

If y'all need an escape goat, there are other places to look.

Whether intentional or not, since the title, "The Speech, Part 2" is so provocative and so disrespectful of what Tim Tebow said and did . . . out of respect for Tebow I am changing it.

There will never be another Speech, or a Part 2, unless it comes from Tim Tebow.

Uh, isn't AR three years out of HS same as Tebow was at the time? I agree with you that he wasn't the problem against Vandy (though he wasn't the solution he could've been, either) but all of this "first year starter" stuff is just silly as well.

Wasn't Tebow a second year starter, having made signif contributions in his first year? AR is a first-year starting QB and any such comparison to Tebow is misplaced.

2 years out of high school and as a first year starter Tebow won the Heisman. AR has had 1 more year in college and similar starting experience. While Tebow is the exception and not the rule, I wholeheartedly agree the "he's still new" has run it's course.
